Welcome to MCSS site!
The MD Anderson Cancer Center Multicenter Study Support (MCSS) group is 1 of 5 components that make up the Clinical Research Support Center’s Infrastructure. The Clinical Research Support Center is located administratively within the Office of Research Administration and reports to the Vice President of Clinical Research.
The purpose of the MCSS group is to enhance the quality of multicenter research by offering support services to MD Anderson Principal Investigators (PI) who are functioning as the lead PI, and/or Coordinating Center PI, for Investigational New Drug (IND) Exempt studies/Consortia.
MCSS support services range from assisting with Data Quality Management Plan development, managing and/or monitoring individual multicenter trials, to functioning as the coordinating center for Consortia. MCSS operations are governed by MD Anderson’s institutional Policies and Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, as well as United Sates Federal Regulations, and State of Texas Regulations.
